Cards--I have no comeback--I got to take whatever you dish out--LOL

Scooterman,

According to D3Hoops projections, the last 4 Pool C bids went to Occidental, Buena Vista, Cal Lutheran, and Middlebury. Brockport and St. Lawrence were both left out. These are only their projections and they could be wrong about a couple of teams, but they correctly picked all of the Women's team except 1. That Geneseo loss hurt , but the semi-final loss to Oswego was the kiss of death. I truely am sorry, because the Golden Eagles could have done some damage. Tell your guys to put it behind them and kick some butt in the ECAC's.

Bids will be announced at noon today. Tune in to Hoopsville as they will have it.

"...I think you partied too much after Saturday's win. ..."

I was in a hotel room writing a paper for my MBA degree and listening to the SUNYAC hockey game.
Then I was the designated driver :)

I would love to see an ECAC final with Brockport and Oswego going at it.
The spolier (Oswego) vs the spoilee (BPort).

Goes to 6 overtimes and it has to be decided with a two on two game  between
Nick and Jabbi  vs Sherrod and (pick someone).   The over under would have to be
180 points.  No defense up and down.  raining 3 pointers.     Water jugs flying.
Blizzard blowing outside the arena :)

I ran the numbers,
IMHO Brockport, SLU & Oswego were bubble teams.

The Oswego loss to Fredonia just killed their chances, and Brockport really needed the second win in the SUNYAC tournament to offset that three game losing streak at mid-season, and the regular season ending loss to Geneseo.  SLU had some tough losses early (e.g. Potsdam at Home) and didn't take care of business on the road at Union.  Then losing in the first round at home to Clarkson was the kiss of death.

All these teams needed to be at 4 or 5 losses in region to have had a shot.

Go  Middlebury  ;D

Yikes, what a difference a round makes: Clarkson might get their shot at Plattsburgh, but they're looking at a 650-mile detour through Wilkes-Barre (plus a little game of basketball) rather than an 88-mile jaunt across the Adirondacks if it's going to happen.

I'm sure they are not complaining.   They could where Brockport or St Lawrence or St John Fisher is right now.

Good luck to the Burg--Represent us well!!! I know the Eagles are disappointed but they controlled their destiny and didnt produce!!Bport has never won the ECAC's before so this would be a great time to do it--I hope they dont fall into that too disappointed to produce category that happens to many NCAA bubble teams. Anyway good luck and bring home a National Championship to the SUNY's.

It would be Sherod Harris and Brandon Williams in that two on two battle--Sounds like fun--My money is on Sherod and Brandon--Go Eagles!!!

Most certainly agreed.  I'm looking forward to Saturday at Memorial in any case, and all's the more fun if the Knights make it through.

A senior forward from Saratoga Springs High (Hudson Valley CC), Khylan Hunt was an all-SUNYAC second team choice after scoring 10.9 points and grabbing a career-high 7.8 rebounds per contest.

If by some miracle the smoke & mirrors Clarkson Golden Knights do make it past Kings @ Wilkes Barre I'll be putting the miles on my jalopy and driving to the furtherest part of the state too.  Let's face it either team King's or the Knights are the "sacrificial lamb" after playing a game on Thurs and driving the gazillion millions of miles to play another game on Sat against one of the top ten teams in the nation!!  All the better for Platts as they'll be relatively fresh for the next round....

Glad to hear that. I'll be rooting for Clarkson in hopes that you will have to make that long trip.

Just in case anyone doesn't know. The Plattsburgh State game against the winner of the Kings College-Clarkson game starts at 7:00 Saturday evening.
