Eastern Connecticut State, Rowan, and Cortland are leading their respective games right now.

If results hold, ECSU and Rowan would advance, while Cortland would force a winner take all game.

Rain delay at Ithaca Regional.

Play has resumed at Cortland Regional-- Williams now batting in bottom of 3rd-- Cortland leads 4-0.

turns out the Cortland regional was also moved to a turf field - at Hamilton College in Clinton, NY.

Tufts is down to its last 3 outs. MIT has rallied to take a 6th inning lead over Rowan trying to force the if necessary game.

Right now in Ithaca, it does not look like they can get in a potential game 7.

If today's first game is played, the winner of the game between Brandeis and Ithaca would go on to superregionals based on at least a rainout head to head tiebreaker.

Update-- regional is rained out- Ithaca declared winner on rainout criteria and will advance to Super Regionals next weekend.

I have read that Linfield will host the SR round against TLU.  I am beyond shocked at this.  I figured NCAA would bring Linfield to Texas so they would not have to pay to fly them back if they won SR in Texas.  Totally surprised that NCAA will pay for that much airfare at the D3 level.

I'm sorry to hear that, Allen. Not the way I wanted my team to win. I will note, however, that when IC won its natty in 2002 they advanced past Geneseo in regionals the exact same manner.

Teams that have already advanced today--

Randolph-Macon-- rainout criteria
Ithaca-- rainout criteria
Eastern Connecticut -- Winner of Medford, MA Regional

It is also not the way that I wanted my team's season to end, either.  At least in 2010, Coast Guard eliminated Brandeis on the final day of the Wellesley Regional before Eastern Connecticut won the regional and moved on to the final 8.
