HCAC Final:

Mt. St. Joseph 6, Transylvania 2

Mt. St. Joseph advances to the HCAC Championship final on Saturday needing 1 win to clinch the HCAC AQ.

Transylvania will play the winner of the Franklin v Anderson elimination game in the second elimination game of the day.  First pitch for Franklin v Anderson scheduled for 1:30 PM Eastern, while Transy's elimination game is scheduled for a first pitch at 4 PM Eastern.  The survivor of Transy/Franklin/Anderson will need to win 2 more games tomorrow to win the HCAC AQ.

Mt. St. Mary plays the loser of #3 St. Joe's LI/#2 Manhattanville at 4 PM Eastern in an elimination game.

NCAC-- DePauw has just taken the lead over Hiram, 5-4. Bottom of 5th 2 outs.

NCAC--2 RBI double has just made it DePauw 7, Hiram 4 after 5 innings.

A 5 run 5th inning for the DePauw Tigers.

DePauw is 6 outs away from the NCAC AQ to the NCAAs.

This will be the first of potentially 5 AQ's awarded today.

MASCAC, NJAC, MIAA, and MAC-Freedom Championship Finals are all underway.  MAC-Freedom's Game 1 started at 1 PM Eastern-- the rest started at 2 PM Eastern.

These are all Best of 3 series.

#1 Framingham St. 3, #2 Bridgewater St. 0 after 1 1/2 innings.

Kean and TCNJ are at the top of the 2nd in Game 1 of the NJAC Championship Series.

Alma and Calvin have played 2 innings in Game 1 of the MIAA Championship Series.

Update--

MAC-Freedom Championship Series Game 1

Misericordia leads Stevens, 4-0, after 5 1/2 innings.

Misercordia scored all 4 of their runs in the bottom of the third.  They have 8 hits on the day.

Further update:  Misercordia just scored another 2 runs in the bottom of the sixth.  They now lead Stevens, 6-0, with 2 out, now with 10 hits on the day as of 2:31 PM Eastern.

2:32 PM Eastern-- it is now Misercordia leading 7-0 on their 11th hit of the day. 

2:34 PM Eastern-- After 6 innings, Misercordia leads 7-0.  They just missed closing it out on the 8 run rule-- the potential winning run was on second when the third out came by way of strikeout, but Misericordia is 3 outs away from victory in Game 1.

2:41 PM Eastern-- Final in Game 1-- Misericordia 7, Stevens 0  Misericordia leads the MAC-Freedom Championship Series 1 game to 0.  Game 2 in approx 30-35 minutes.
