MASCAC Game 1:  Framingham State 3, Bridgewater State 1  after 4 1/2 innings.

Bridgewater State runner was thrown out at home to end the top of the 5th.

                       Nebraska Wesleyan takes the Wartburg Pod as a 6 seed.

                       Buena Vista 1, Luther 0 Bottom of 3rd. (Luther just got a Schultz 2-run HR to take the lead, 2-1).

2 RBI single and another RBI single makes it Framingham State leading 6-1 over Bridgewater State in Game 1, bottom of 6th 1 out.

MIAA update--

No score top of 7th in Game 1.  Alma has runners on first and second. 1 out.

Further MIAA update-- Still 0-0 after 6 1/2 innings.  Calvin at bat in the bottom of the 7th.

NJAC Game 1:  TCNJ 1, Kean 0 Bottom of 6th 1 out.

MIAA Game 1 has gone to extra innings.  MIAA does not use the international tiebreaker in the 8th and 9th innings.  We are in the top of the 8th with an Alma runner on first and 2 out.  Still 0-0.

MAC-Freedom Game 2:  Misericordia 1, Stevens 0 Bottom of 2nd 1 out.  Misericordia leads the series, 1 game to 0.  The Misericordia run scored with nobody out.

MAC-Freedom update Game 2:  It is now Misericordia 4, Stevens 0.  3 runs scored on an RBI sacrifice, an RBI single, and a fielding error by Stevens.

MIAA update--

No score after 8 innings.  Alma got out of a jam in the bottom of the 8th as Calvin almost won with 1 out and runners on second and third, but the Alma pitcher got the next 2 outs by way of strikeout.

NJAC Final in Game 1:  TCNJ 1, Kean 0  TCNJ leads the series 1 game to 0

MAC-Freedom update in Game 2: Misericordia leads Stevens, 5-0 in the top of the 3rd.  Misericordia has a 1 game to 0 lead in this series.

MIAA Game 1 update--

Headed to the bottom of the 9th with still no score between Alma and Calvin.

Further update-- Heading to the 10th inning.  Still no score.

The international tiebreaker is not in effect for the MIAA Championship Series.  We will play these extra innings straight up.  This is similar to the NCAA tournament rules, which do not use the international tiebreaker even at the start of the tenth inning.

MAC Freedom Game 2 update--

Top of the fourth 1 out.  Stevens has just scored 2 runs on a RBI triple and an RBI sacrifice.  Misericordia still leads 5-2.

MIAA Game 1 update--

Bottom of the tenth.  A crucial Alma error by the leftfielder has a Calvin runner on third with 1 out.  The runner got to second on the fielding error, and a bunt sacrifice got the runner to third.

MIAA Game 1 Final

Calvin 1, Alma 0 (Final in 10 innings).  Winning run comes on a wild pitch with 1 out!  Obviously, the run is unearned.

Calvin leads the series, 1 game to 0.  Next game in approx 30 to 35 minutes.

Misericordia now leads over Stevens, 5-3, with still 1 out in the top of the 4th.  Misericordia leading the series, 1 game to 0.

Further update-- Misericordia now leads, 5-4, with still 1 out in the top of the 4th.  Stevens has made 8 hits, and Misericordia has committed 3 fielding errors this game.

Still further update-- Game tied at 5-5 after 3 1/2 innings.  Stevens put up a "5" spot in the top of the 4th to tie this one up.

In the top of the first, Bridgewater State has struck first.  Bridgewater State has a 1-0 lead over Framingham State after 1/2 inning.  Framingham State leads the series, 1 game to 0.

ARC Coe Pod final:  Luther 3, Buena Vista 2. With the potential tying run at 2nd base and 2 out, Luther's pitcher induced a game ending infield ground out-

It'll be 4 Luther vs. 6 NE Wesleyan for the ARC Tournament Title in a best of 3 at Coe.

Both runs were scored in the first inning.

A Framingham win in Game 2 clinches the MASCAC AQ.
