St. Thomas added a run in the Top of the 7th. Now we find out if St. Olaf's has a 3 spot to pull out of the hat to extend (or more to force another game:  3-0 Tommies.

Here we go:

Infield ground-out  1 Out
Pop-up to catcher   2 Outs
Strike-out              3 Outs!

St. Thomas is in the dance, as the MIAC AQ! Congratulations, Tommies!

Key element:  St. Olaf hitter Matheis (the same player that got the walk-off hit that eliminated Concordia-MN) was kept in check. She took an intentional walk her first time up, her second time up, with a 2 strike count on-the Tommie catcher appeared to set up for a second walk-but the next pitch induced Matheis to strike out. Tommies' pitcher Kierstin Anderson-Glass tossed a complete-game shut-out, getting a lot of Ole hitters to ground out.

Muskingum just put a 3-spot up on ONU in the bottom of the 5th to take a 3-2 lead. ONU now batting in the top of the 6th.
(Muskie runs came on a bases loaded single-a fielders' choice DP in which the second run scored and a fielding error which allowed a runner on 3rd to score the go-ahead run).

"Enter Sandman" by Metallica playing before the second inning starts.

Update

Skyline:

Farmingdale State 1, Manhattanville 0 after 1 inning.

After a Farmingdale State runner was thrown out at home on the second out, the run scored on an RBI single by the next batter.

Farmingdale State scored 1 run on 2 hits and no Manhattanville errors in the bottom of the first.

WLCALUM83

Good one. (Sandman reference.)

Muskingum still up 3-2 on ONU, top of 7th. Polar Bears on their last at-bat. Here we go.

Swinging strike out--1 Out
Throwing error, tying run on 2nd (now the chess game begins)
Fly ball dropped, tying run scores- ONU winning run at 2nd, 1 out
Ground out, 2 outs-winning run still at 2nd
Ground out, 3 outs-

Now its' Muskingum's turn in the bottom of the 7th to see if this thing gets settled in regulation, or we go to extras--
