Waverly, IA update: MSOE/Coe still scoreless, Kohawks batting in top of 3rd.

Sequin TX, I'm going to wait until that one goes final, (feed keeps breaking up on me when I go to it).

Eau Claire update: Piedmont 10, IL College 1 Bottom of 5th 2 outs (Piedmont had put Whiteside in for a couple of innings, Maloch is on the hill again now.). Maloch gets the 3rd out on a swinging strike-out.

Piedmont 10, IL College 1 Final IL College eliminated.

Coe is 3 outs away from a 1-0 win unless MSOE can push a 7th inning run across to tie or 2 to get a walk off win--

The Kohawks get their 1-0 win as Thurow retires the side in order. (This was a classic pitchers' duel. Thurow tosses a 3 hit shut-out--Pondo kept the Coe power hitters from doing any substantial damage-giving up only 7 hits herself. The one double Pondo allowed, that runner was the one that scored.)

UW-Superior/Webster are scheduled for an elimination game yet today, will that game go on, or will it be pushed off until tomorrow A. M.?

Seguin update: Cedar Crest 8, Bridgewater State 3 Bottom of 5th.

It looks like they're going to at least start the UW-Superior/Webster game in the IA regional tonight yet.

I'm going to call it a night. Tomorrow I'm going to be picking up a COVID-compliant mask that will still allow me to play my clarinet and one other related piece of equipment in the morning, so it'll be "catch as catch-can" for a good share of the day tomorrow.

Waverly regional: Webster 9, UW-Superior 1 5 innings (WI squad eliminated) Webster put up a 5th inning 5-spot to break this one open--Alyssa McWilliams - 3 run HR

Sequin regional: Cedar Crest 8, Bridgewater State 5 Cedar Crest stays alive (A late Bridgewater State rally falls short).

Millikin regional: DePauw 5, Calvin 3 (5th inning 3 spot gave the Tigers the lead for good. Henry (who else) tosses yet another complete game to get the win--

Marshall TX regional update: ETBU and Redlands are tied at 1 in the top of the 7th inning.

Update: ETBU just got a 2-RBI single and a 3-run HR, so the Tigers are now up 6-1 in the top of the 7th inning.
Further update: ETBU 6, Redlands 1 Final (Redlands eliminated)

Husson regional update: ECSU 9, Husson 1 6 innings- ECSU still alive (Stoker went the distance, giving up only 4 hits to get the win)
ECSU gets Endicott later.)
Tufts 2, Brandeis 0 (Jumbos' Adelman HR and single 2nd inning run was all the offense Tufts needed (Haghdan the win, Van Meter the save, Goldman takes the loss). Brandeis gets Husson in an elimination game later.
