I'm pulling for UW-Oshkosh in the Eau Claire regional and MSOE in the Waverly-IA regional:

Titans need win only once.

MSOE's a different story: Will Raider pitcher Lorrin Pondo be asked to pitch 3 whole games today if MSOE keeps winning? MSJ couldn't get
it done at Millikin--(That would almost be a Miranda Elish-type feat--2 years ago, the Texas Longhorns were 1
loss away from being eliminated in their regional--Miranda made 4 straight starts for them--and pitched 4
complete game wins-Longhorns were later eliminated by Alabama that year.)

Furthermore, St. Thomas' starting pitcher has been pitching lights out so far in MSOE's regional.

Just some commentary on the NSN webcast--

It is doing much better right now with the 5th inning having Ethan Snow doing PBP and the regular PBP Mike Violette doing the color commentary. Just some advice to NSN-- keep this for the rest of the game if possible. Mike Violette always messes up his rosters!

Update-- in the top of the 6th from Bangor, Maine, it is back to reality with Mike Violette back doing PBP and making my ears bleed....

Eau Claire Final: Piedmont 7, Linfield 5 (OR squad makes it interesting in the 5th, but Maloch comes on in relief for Piedmont and does the needed good job pitching the rest of the way.)

Now the Lions go up against Oshkosh needing 2 wins to advance--

VA Wesleyan Final: TCNJ 11, Gettysburg 2 (Gettysburg sees its' season come to a close)
TCNJ needs 2 wins over the Marlins to advance.

With 1 out in the top of the 7th, a throwing error by the Eastern Conn third baseman puts Michelle Adelman of Tufts in scoring position on second base.
