I caught the tail end of that SCIAC deciding game thriller, and that's a very fitting ending to put a cap on the action. I second deiscanton's congratulations to all squads which qualified!

Tournament Field Observations:

Congratulations to the American Rivers Conference for getting 4 teams (Coe, Central-IA, Luther and Wartburg) in-and the NJAC for getting 3 in (TCNJ, Ramapo, Rowan)-

Marietta, RPI and Rosemont were completely under my radar. I owe Lebanon Valley an apology for selling that squad short a bit.

Belhaven gets in after all, I didn't see BSC.

Something came up on the NCAA DIII Softball Announcement, and I do not know whether or not it was a mistake, or if something happened to St. Elizabeth that made the softball team unable to compete in the NCAA DIII Tournament this year, but when the bracket just got announced, Rosemont was announced as the representative of the Colonial States Athletic Conference to this year's tournament instead of St. Elizabeth, and Rosemont will be travelling to face Berry in the pod at Mary Hardin-Baylor.  UMHB will play St. Thomas (TX) in the 4 team double elimination pod.

Anyway, here are the at-large picks:

Pool B-- Salisbury

Pool C--

1.)  Eastern Conn. State
2.)  Lebanon Valley
3.)  Virginia Wesleyan
4.)  Christopher Newport
5.)  Roanoke
6.)  UW-Whitewater
7.)  Coe
8.)  Ramapo
9.)  Rowan
10.)  Marietta
11.)  Tufts
12.)  RPI
13.)  UW-Oshkosh
14.)  Luther
15.)  Central (IA)
16.)  Mary Hardin-Baylor
17.)  Texas Lutheran
18.)  Belhaven

Also, in a last minute announcement, Rosemont is replacing St. Elizabeth as the CSAC AQ, as apparently St. Elizabeth is unable to compete in this year's NCAA DIII Softball Tournament due to undisclosed circumstances.
