Ms. Collins was a very successful player at Texas A&M (first-team all-Big 12 all four years, player of the year in 2002) and comes to Trinity from Sam Houston State, where she was an assistant the last two seasons.

From the 2010 D-III Softball Handbook:
Future Dates and Sites. The 2011 finals will be May 20-24 at James I. Moyer Sports
Complex in Salem, Virginia, hosted by the City of Salem and the Old Dominion
Athletic Conference.

The championship provides for a field of 60 teams

Interesting that softball gets 60 TEAMS but baseball less......Is that because rosters sizes for baseball are larger and cost more overall is my guess...
