Western's double header with Springfield postponed from Friday to today was postponed yet again, no makeup date announced.  I have a hard time seeing this game being made up, Western may try to get another team on the schedule on the fly again.   Western is back in action with a double header at Wesleyan Tueasday afternoon, game times slated for 3:00 and 5:00.

Western wins game 2 5-3 behind Stephanie Moss who improved to 5-0 on the year.  After losing the first game Mag Dargon came in to record the final 2 outs for her first save of the season.   Western is back in action tomorrow afternoon with a double header against Springfield college (well turns out I was wrong about that game not being played).  Game times slated for 1 and 3.

Western splits a non LEC doubleheader with Springfield College today.
Mag Dargon gets back in the win column giving up 7 hits, 2 runs and 9 strikeouts in a 5-2 Colonials win in game 1.  Stephanie Moss had arguably the worst game of her Colonial career giving up 3 runs in 3 2/3 IP comming in for relief from starter Brittany Connors who also gave up 3 runs in 3 1/3 IP's.  Moss gave up 4 hits, Connors gave up 8.  Offense could never get started as we registred 9 hits all singles and left 9 on base in a 6-0 loss.   After starting the season 10-2 we have split our last 3 series to fall to 13-5 (1-1 in the LEC).  We are back in action Tuesday afternoon with a non league tilt at home against Trinity; game times slated for 4 and 6 PM.
