We could have a champion in Providence as early as 3:00 PM today.  RIC will face St. Joseph's in the final elimination game; loser goes home, winner goes onto play Eastern, and has to beat Eastern twice to advance to the championship round.  Rain on the northeast today, so not sure how that will affect the schedule today if both games get postponed.  Pitching for St. Joseph's is Maydlan Kluna, and for RIC is Amanda Berard.  St. Joseph's is the home team.
RIC 0 St. joes 0 top 1st.  Game scheduled to start in a few minutes barring rain.
RIC 3 St. Joes 0 top 3rd.  Kayla Jandreau 2 run homer scores jaci Lata for the first run of the game, then Chelsi Panarelli single scores Marisa Jandreau later in the inning.
RIC 3 St. Joes 2 bottom 5th.  Heather Dunn 2 run homer gets the Monks within 1.
RIC 5 St. Joes 2 bottom 6th.  Marisa jandreau groundout scores Amanda Perry, and that was followed by a Doniella Mattoon groundout scoring Stacy Pokora.
RIC 7 St. Joes 4 bottom 7th.  Amanda Perry reached on an error which scored Kristina Gingell, then a Stacy Pokora single scored Perry.  The Monks aren't going quitely, as Heather Dunn leads off with a single, and Heather Tripp follows with a 2 run homer.
RIC 7 St. Joes final.  Monks got the tying run to the plate with 2 outs, but they flied out to end the game.  St. Joes is eliminated, RIC faces Eastern in the championship round, first game slated for about 12:10 or so.  At least the LEC is guaranteed to get 1 team into the NCAA championship round.  I"ll be rooting for Eastern, because I think they have a better chance to win the title then RIC does, but I'm happy for both teams.

Some finals (once again, this will be updated throughout the day):
Ithaca and Cortland are both in rain delays.  Not sure when Ithaca will start (if it does), first game in Cortland will start at 1:00 PM, Adrian regional games will start at 2:00.  Rowan eliminates Shenandoah in a game postponed from last night 8-1, and RIC eliminates St. Joes with a 7-4 win.
St. Thomas over Ripon 7-0, Ripon eliminated Eau Claire final is St. Thomas vs. Luther, Piedmont leads Moravian 6-1 end of 5th when game was suspended, Salisbury eliminates Rowan 6-4, Salisbury final is Christopher Newport vs. Salisbury, and once again Providence final is Eastern vs. RIC, RIC got a 3 run homer in the top of the 7th to take a 3 run lead.
RIC 3-1 over eastern.  Salisbury 19-3 (6 innings) over Salisbury to advance to the championship round, Whitewater 2 Wash U 1 (14 innings), Wash U is eliminated.  Hiram 19 trine 7 (5 innings), trine is eliminated, Cortland regional is suspended until tomorrow with Piedmont leading Moravian 6-1.  Much like in Ithaca the Piedmont/Moravian winner will have to win 3 games Monday to win the championship.

Championship round in the providence regional will be underway shortly.  Its an all LEC battle as it will be the RIC Anchorwomen against the Eastern Connecticut state Warriors.  RIC has to win 2 games against Eastern while 1 Eastern win sends them to Salem for the championship next week.  Amanda Berard pitching for RIC once again, and like usual Eastern will try to end it right now as they send Molly Rathburn to the hill who is a perfect 22-0 this year.
RIC 0 Eastern 0.  Game scheduled to start at 12:15
RIC 0 Eastern 1 top 6.  Rathburn single scores Priscilla Alicea for the games first run.
RIC 3 Eastern 1 top 7.  RIC comes up clutch, with 1 out Stacy Pokora hits a 3 run homer that scores Amanda Perry and Emily Johnson to give the Anchorwomen the lead.  Top of the order up for Eastern in the bottom half.
RIC 3 Eastern 1 final.  Pokora's homer proves to be the run as Eastern goes in order in the 7th.  We will play for all the marbles Monday morning at 10:00 am here in Providence, hopefully the rain stays away.

RIC beats Eastern 3-1, so we have our first Monday game as RIC and Eastern will play for all the marbles Monday morning at 10:00 am in Providence.

Itaca games rained out, Keuka/Ithaca winner will have to play 3 games tomorrow to win the title.  Still delayed in Cortland as well, decision will be made regarding that at 4:30 PM, Luther up 1-0 top 3rd, Wash U & Whitewater tied 0-0 top 13, Hiram's scored 13 unanswered to take a 14-7 lead over Trine bot 4, Christopher Newport creaming Salisbury 15-3 top 6.  Looks like we have our first team in the championship round as Salisbury would've had to win twice.  If any games go final in the next 20 minutes before I have to go to work, I'll let you know.
