Tough day for NCC. The Cards lost both ends of a DH to Elmhurst today. Game one score was 6-8 and game two, 4-7.

The losses drop the Cardinals to 11-11 (1-5) in the CCIW.

Do you do a video for every sport? They are so cool to watch!

The vast majority of the time it's for the football program but it's fun to be able to try to put together clips for the different sports (I've done some basketball and baseball too). It's a fun hobby for me and a way to give back to the college I do adore. Thanks for checking them out!

Last Saturday, Western split 2 with Plymouth losing game 1 7-4 and winning game 2 10-2. Swept Wesleyan last Tuesday 9-5 & 17-3, game with New Paltz scheduled for Wednesday got postponed to tomorrow. Currently playing a double header with Keene state. Our record currently stands at 17-5 and 1-1 in the LEC heading into the games vs. Keene.
Keene sweeps a double header from Western. Owls won the first game 4-2 with all 4 runs coming in the 7th including the walk off 3 run homer by Nichole Dupis to give game 1 to the Owls. In the second game, the Owls parlayed those 4 runs they scored in the 7th inning of game 1 to 3 runs in the first inning of game 2 and never looked back cruising to an 8-4 game 2 win and the double header sweep. Keene goes to 14-4, 2-2 in the LEC while Western drops to 17-7, 1-3 in the LEC. They will be back in action today, with a double header against New Paltz beginning at 12.

LEC standings as of 4/15/12:

1) Eastern 23-1 (6-0)
1) RIC 13-8 (4-0)
3) Keene 14-4 (2-2)
4) Dartmouth 8-16 (3-3)
5) Plymouth 10-14 (2-4)
6) Western 17-7 (1-3)
6) USM 1-23 (1-3)
8) Boston 13-11 (1-5). Western & Boston would be out of the playoffs if the LEC tournament started today. Western is by far the most dissapointing team this year. Hopefully we can get a split against Eastern, sweep RIC and parlay those 2 with the win in Florida against Luther because we've been awful in LEC play.

Eastern Connecticut State's Molly Rathbun pitches a PERFECT Game vs #11 Tufts in a 4-0 victory at Wellesley College!!!!!! ECSU also defeated host Wellesley 11-2 in a triple header today. (Tufts earlier defeated Wellesley 7-1)

Eastern's lone loss was a 4-2 defeat to Tufts, the second game of the season in Clairemont Fla. That was Rathbun's only defeat, she is now 16-1

ECSU is now 25-1 overall, 6-0 in the LEC.
