How about Amherst softball at 21-0.  Next up a tough Keene State, but has to be best start in program history.

Western splits with Springfield winning game 1 5-1 while losing game 2 8-0 to go to 14-4 on the season.  Next up is a double header with Plymouth state Saturday beginning at 12
Also, 3 LEC teams in or receiving votes in the top 25 poll.  Eastern is tied with Coe at #3, Western is 16th, Keene would be tied for 28th if you include number of votes.  Complete poll:

Watched Linfield dropped the hammer on George Fox tonight 14-0.  The 'Cats line-up puts so much pressure on defenses...just relentless bats and on the base paths.  Fun team to watch.

Just returned from a shopping trip to Hornell where the Saxons dropped a 9-1 verdict in the first game to nationally ranked St. John Fisher. In the second game, the Cardinals rallied for three runs in the top of the 7th to tie the Saxons 3-3. In the bottom of the 7th, AU's first four batters hit safely as the Saxons earned a split with a 4-3 win.

The Cardinals' 9-1 win snapped an eight-game win streak by the Saxons. Ironically, AU's 4-3 win then snapped Fisher's eight-game win streak. St. John Fisher is now 19-5 overall, 3-1 in E8 play, while the Saxons are 14-8, also at 3-1 in E8 play.
