Knight pitcher Ashley Nelson induced 16 ground-outs, 2 strike-outs and 3 flyouts to keep the Norse offense in check.

Yet another result that adds a couple more questions to the mix:  Central-IA and Coe have been in the Top 25 virtually all season, and Luther-IA ARV:  Do 4 American Rivers Conference squads get in? If not, it's a very tough call as to who to leave out, IMHO.

UMAC update-- After 6 innings, UW-Superior 3, Bethany Lutheran 0.   UW-Superior looks poised to force a deciding game in the UMAC tournament.

NCAC update-- After 6 innings, #1 seed DePauw 5, Hiram 2.  DePauw still looks in good shape to force a deciding game in the NCAC.

SCIAC Championship first pitch at 3 PM Eastern between #3 seed Redlands and #2 seed Chapman.   Redlands needs 1 win to clinch the AQ, while Chapman will need 2 wins.
