There are live stats for the Hobart-SLU game.

At least Hobart tied up already.

Thanks for the info! It wasn't up on the scoreboard page so I was lazy and gave up. I really want Hobart to go undefeated, it can only be good for the entire region.

I think they'll come out in the 2nd half and take control. I'm sure the coaching staff went sh!t crazy on them during halftime.

Strang just chucked a 44 yard pass. So it looks like Coach Cragg may have given the Statesmen occasion to find religion during a halftime ass-chewing. Just a guess.

Hobart just opened the 2nd half with a 9 play, 75 yard drive.
That's the Hobart squad I recognize.

They just really have to know that a loss provides the difference between playing a team like Salve in the first round or a team like Cortland or even worse like Wesley last year.

No doubt. That first half was terrible. Looks like things are turning around. Li'l Rev is sick sick sick, so ill be up all night anyway. Thank God for live stats.

Yep, they've got their stride now. 2 really good looking (at least from the drive summaries) drives. Unfortunately it likely won't happen but this seems like a team that could be worthy of a 1 seed. I mean there could be finally (maybe there will actually be 2 with Widener) a team in the East that runs the table in a conference that isn't in New England, and yet it may not be enough? I am not sure what would be necessary for a 1 seed then.

I wish I were in Canton to see this. The second drive was 6 plays and 72 yards.
I'm convinced Coach Cragg woke everyone up during halftime. I love him. When he's fired up you better be too.

Now 27-7 Hobart. SLU blocked Kick.

At 34-14 with just a couple minutes to go, I expect that Hobart will win. However, that last drive for -11 yards shows a bit of coming apart at the seams.

Final score 34-14. Gee whiz. After the offense came apart at the seams on the second to last drive, defense answered with a remarkable goal line stand. I have to hand it tongue Statesmen D. They could have let SLU score and Hobart still would have won. But they stopped SLU in their tracks. That impressed me.

That kind of ignores the 50-yard pass that landed SLU at the doorstep, though.  And the previous drive TD.

This was not an impressive game.  If Hobart plays like this next week, they can begin to look at the word "Co" next weekend, as in "Co-Champs" of the LL.  After 3 good halves (RPI game, Union 1st half), there have been three halves of mediocre to bad play.  The reason I propelled Hobart up my ballot is because of a consistency question.  That said, the consistency is getting shaky.  In 2006, Union beat Hobart to win the LL, lost the next week to RPI in a rivalry game and lost ugly to SJF in the first round.  It's time to make a statement next week as the team approaches the playoffs.

Happy for my Hobart friends that they have 9-0 to cheer on right now, but I don't want to see this team at 10-1 when they're representing the LL in the playoffs.

Honestly rev, to dlip, this had to be a tough game to get up for ya know. SLU is just awful and to play up in Canton (****ing no mans land) must be hard after the emotional high of last week. In some ways dlip is impressed by Bart turning it on long enough to blow it open.

'Co-Champs' as in Union beats RPI and Rochester beats Hobart?  If both of those things happen, there's a good chance the Mayans were right and we should really enjoy this last month of existence.
