Nice separation by the Larries today to reveal Rochester as a "not quite there yet" team.
Hobart looks like the old Hobart playing 2nd, 3rd and 4th string QB's and running the wildcat to mix things up against WPI. Defense is strong, even second string.
Sad day for the Dutchmen as they fall short in comeback to The Pride.
RPI looks solid as Merchant Marine tries to hang tough.
Hobart, RPI and the Larries all 2-0...the race is on!

SLU up 20-0 against Rochester (missed xp) after 3 quarters.

There goes Rochester's undefeated season.

Rats. Was hoping they'd run the table and put that mouthy Pep in his place.
On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!
...Fight, fight for Alfred, A-L-F, R-E-D!

Wow. SLU coming out firing. scored on 2nd play of the game then allowed 1 yard on a 3-and-out. Back in the RedZone already.

D3pc

Now 14-0 and another 3 and out for RPI

Springfield has Hobart on its heels. Been a tale of two halves. Hobart led at halftime, 13-0, but the Pride have scored on three straight possessions and are threatening again, looking to add to a 21-13 lead.

Game over for Hobart. Couldn't convert on 4th down.

So WNE beat Springfield 34-14 and Springfield just beat hobart 34-13. What does this say to the voters?

LL will be getting no favors.

Congrats to Springfield on a very well played game for their  first win against Hobart...and  in convincing fashion . Statesmen really miss best run stopper Jacob Stanley(out for season)  as run defense is sliced up in second half. Sweeney started and was beginning to shed some rust but injures shoulder again. Without Sweeney and Stanley, it looks like the team will be fighting for every win ,especially if Oline does not dominate as in past seasons.  Now we know National ranking was undeserved based on losses against weaker teams although defense was worhy when Stanley was playing. The coaching staff and the team have a lot of work to do to have a chance to win/tie for the Liberty League title. The Larries are looking good after today..  :'( ... hopefully Coach Cragg will take the bye week and retool both sides of the ball.

U of R with the WORST call dlip has ever seen and gives away 7 points. Yellowjackets elect to go for it on 4th and 1 from their own ****ing 28yard line with the game tied at 21 and of course they don't make it. RPI legendary broadcaster "Bob" is baffled by the call and laughs it off as RPI takes possession and scores almost immediately. RPI up 28-21.

U of R goes for it again on 4th on their side of the 50 (or close) and doesn't make it. Also why is Bronson hardly playing for the Yellowjackets? He's played like one series all game? He doesn't look hurt??? Weird game for Rochester...

U of R then takes a roughing the kicker penalty and gives RPI an and goal set of downs. RPI scores and goes up 35-21. U OF R gives this game away however the better team in RPI is rightfully winning in IDHO.

MMA and Springfield tied a 7.
