Ithaca puts together, honestly, their best drive of the season, starting at their 11 but get to the RPI 2.  On 4th and Goal with 4 seconds left, they decide to go for it... and RPI reads the fake handoff perfectly and gets the sack.

Halftime: RPI 3 Ithaca 3, Bombers get the ball first in the 2nd half.

Thank GOD Ithaca didn't score right there because, as mentioned by the Ithaca broadcast, they would've had to pass the rest of the game if they went down 7. Phew. Crisis averted!!!

EDIT- Ithaca forced 3rd and 4 but then commit pass interference.  RPI punches it in 2 plays later.

Not a lot to speak of at Butterfield. A whole lot of punting and short drives.  RPI finally gets in a position of some danger but their 36 yard field goal is wide.

A glorious day at the Boz in a nail biter . Glad I changed my prediction. Great all around team effort. We finally have a defense. Union is for real and Jr. is one hell of a talent. The LL has one more contender from Geneva. There was some sloppiness by both teams but it seemed to cancel out in the end. Loved hearing the boys sing Hip Hobart at the end of the game. Thank God we found a real team of Statesmen today. Good luck to Union the rest of the way.

Congrats to the Statesmen. Well earned. Now watching Ithaca video. Announcing crew far superior to Hobart homer Ted's rants. The field condition, soft, wet with long grass, unfortunately is a factor. It seems to be hampering Ithaca's attempt at a comeback. Karma

Ithaca faced 4th and 1 on their own 30... and converted it with a QB run for 7. They have since followed that with 3 completions in a row and are now at the RPI 30.
