WPI knocking on the SUS red zone after a short punt gives the Engineers a short field.  3rd and 1 from the SUS 20.

Union ball after a Heimbrock fumble.

Another fumbled forced by SUS D on WPI.  SUS ball at their own 12.

Wow.  14 pt swing for the Susquatch.

Did Coney get hurt or are they just resting him?

5th TD pass for Palazzi to put SUS up 35-21.  Wow - impressive day for the SO QB.

Rochester goes to 4-2 in the LL (4-5 overall) with a 20-7 victory over the St. Lawrence Saints (2-7, 1-5).

QB Braezen Subick took the first snap from scrimmage and launched a 60 yd pass caught and scored by Mike Coolbaugh for 1 play, 60 yard, TOP 0:19 TD.  The White-Stellato PAT failed.

Subick put up UofR 13-0 on a 5 yard pass caping a 10 play, 38 yards, 4:02 TOP drive on their ensuing offensive possession.

A Clarence Onyiriuka 1 yd run capped the scoring for Rochester with 03:25 to play in the first half.

Although SLU would score in their first offensive possession of the second half - an Ethan Sutton 25 yd pass from Michael Baraldi (Matthew Dodge kick) covering 9 plays, 64 yards, TOP 3:16 with 11:37 to play in the third qtr.

Although SLU was able to get their passing game in order - throwing for 239 yards, the SLU running game was shut down by the Jackets (only 40 yards allowed).

Onyiriuka lead UofR with 127 yards on 34 carries and 1 TD.

Brendan Pidgeon lead the UofR D with 13 total tackles including 1 TFL, a sack and 1 FF.

Rochester will host Hobart (5-3, 4-2) in the annual Centennial Cup game.  This will be the 102th game between these long-time rivals with the series deadlocked at 47-47-7.

Union up 30-6 with about 9 mins to play.  2nd and 3rd stringers (maybe even 4th stringers) getting PT on the Dutchmen side of the ball.

now up 37-6. unionfan is very happy to see a real dominant victory for once, but you still gotta worry about that qb throwing four ugly picks...

Is it time to revisit the debate about the parity in the LL with SLU, WPI and MMA all losing today?  SUS is a redherring since they're history in the league will total three years, but otherwise, it's still Union/Bart/RPI at the top with UofR in the mix at the 3/4 spot in the league.

unionfan too.  the worst part was that only one was a "he threw a duck up for gallo"; the other three were forced throws into traffic. i can live with the first category as a cost of that approach; the latter stuff will kill us against any decent team (se, e.g., Muhl and Salisbury games).

Union driving well.....Coney fumble at midfield, recovered by the 'Crotch.

Can someone please kill the person with the damn bell.
