Shoot out with Union and Bart...

Didn't see that coming with the boring 1st QTR...

LiveStats has it 35-35.

Beautiful 1st OT:

  • Hobart throws INT;
  • Union misses 37 yard FG
Irritating SAT-lagging Union undergrads and alums since 1977

If it's any consolation, the LiveStats operator isn't any good with letters or numbers--according to LiveStats, Union didn't have a second OT possession.

Wha' happened?

Also the Livestats shows Hobart having the ball on its own 25 at the beginning of the possession.  Logically, Union should have started with the ball in the 2nd OT so maybe that was their possession.

They say there was a fumble, maybe it was Union that fumbled it and Bart recovered it?

Perhaps.  Although they were using the wrong player names then as well.  What a mess that is.  We can only assume Hobart won at this point.

St. Lawrence University - 2010 LL Champs

Exhausting just to listen to.  Union Gallo jr caught a pass then fumbled in 2nd OT.  Bart Scored on 4 plays on a 7yd Strang rush.  Bart tried everything to give that game away w/6 TO's, 85yds in penalties and 2 missed FG's.  About 4 or 5 starters were out for Bart incl Vella.  Strang, a SO, in his first start finished 19-29, 405 yds passing, 5 pass TD's, 4 ints, 11 rushes for 93 yards and the winning rush TD in OT.  Quite a first start.

J Gallo had like 150 yards and 2 TD's.

Jr Woodard had 182yds and 2 tds, Webb and Coney both over 100yards although Coney didn't do that much on the ground, maybe 3.5/carry (vs. 5.0 avg) and he did have one big rec for a TD.

Just crazy game.
