Holy CRAP! End of 1st Q in Troy:

Alfred - 0
RPI   - 24

Update:

Holy Crap!  End of 1st Half in Troy:

Alfred - 7
RPI   - 24

I wish the WRPI announcers would tell me "running right, running left," instead of this "near side, far side" nonsense.

Update III:

RPI has their Utica offense back on the field, end of 3d Q:

Alfred - 24
RPI   -  24

WRPI announcers just described RPI kick returner "running east-west."  Thanks for that, guys.
"Once again, 'Secky' hands off to Dwyer, who gets the 1st down."  (Inside?  Outside?  Right?  Left?)

AU is handing RPI this game.....as a favor to Pep to get the RPI posters back on the boards!

SLU-Union is pretty tight so far.  SLU just scored to take the lead 17-14 with a couple of minutes left in the 3rd quarter!

Wow.  SLU stops Union on 4th and 1 at the 50, then marches down the field and scores.  PAT blocked.  23-14 with 8 minutes to go in the 4th.  SLU is really stepping up their game.

SLU intercepts Gallo on 4th down with 8 seconds left.  Hold onto your hats folks, the Saints are looking legit.

Welcome back, Redswarm.... Saxons recovered from an ugly first quarter to turn it into a game but then ran out of gas. Congrats, RPI...

Saxons needed the 7 points that the AU Pep Band is always good for....but the band couldn't be there. Attribute this loss to Pep.

Never would have expected this in my wildest dreams (an I've had some wild ones).  It's amazing that these are almost all of the same players (without the All-American Gerard Bryant) that won 2 games last year.  The coaching staff deserves a huge amount of credit.

The coaching staff and everything outside of their own games going in their favor...

Get past RPI, which is looking like a tougher challenge today than it did yesterday, and it's clear sailing...

As SLU tries to stay on top of the LL (still weird to say), RPI misses a 29yd FG on their first drive.  SLU turns around and throws a pick a couple of plays later.

RPI's opening drive stalls at the Larries' 12, Nilsson misses wide left.

Non-Kurt Stutt announcing on WRPI, only a couple of near-side/far-side calls.

RPI intercepts on 3d down of Larries' 1st possession.

Update: what StLarry said.

SLU goes for it on 4th and 15 from the RPI 25 and get it, end up with 1st and goal from the 3.  TD pass and xp is good.  SLU up 7-0 early in the 2nd quarter.

Sounds like they were in no-mans land.  It was either a 42yd FG or a punt that would be pretty much guaranteed to go for a touchback.  RPI has been in the same position a couple of times already and haven't been able to convert.
