End of 1Q in St Lawrence and the game is tied at 0-0.  St. Lawrence is running all over the U (100 yards rushing so far), while Union has zero consistency on offense.

What on Earth is going on with our run D?

Union just recovers fumble and then on first play on O Coney fumbles and SLU recovers. This is going to be a long ****in day. Come on U!

It is being poorly coached.  They are playing either nickel or 4-3 with the linebackers way back off the line of scrimmage, and thus getting beat through the middle gaps play after play.  Exact same thing last week at Hobart.

Two weeks in a row is unacceptable in dlips mind.

It's ok, we'll just give you the ball right back after going for it on 4th and 6.  SLU's QB is 2-9 for 5 yards...and Union's is 2-9.  I'm kind of glad I can't physically watch this game...

Indeed.  It would be one thing if they were also passing on us, but the SLU QB is 2 for 9 so far.  They ought to be playing 8 in the box...

Sounds like you and dlip are both happy we are not there to witness what seems to be quite the sloppy game. Gotta give SLU props on the running game thus far ;) By the way while typing this we just punted right back to you, enjoy.

Playing down to the opponent.....a trademark of Union over the past couple years.....Union is playing the Larries and St. Lawrence has over 130 yards rushing with 11 minutes to go in the 2nd.  Union, on the other hand has six yards rushing...

St. Lawrence........

SLU now at 147 yards on the ground...!

I just got the WRPI stream.  RPI leads 7 - 0 in the 1st Q, I haven't yet heard whether they scored on the near side or the far side of the left or right end zone.

Old home week for sidekicks.  Familiar deep voice, the guy who says "souffmore."

Sasquatch punts, pins RPI on their own 2.  1st and 10, Costa rips off 7 yd. run, gets 1st down at 13 on 2d down run.

Susquehanna scores on a pass, PAT kick good, ties it at 7.

Anybody else trying Susquehanna's free b2videocast?  I've logged on, and it's saying "please standby--your broadcast will begin shortly. . . . Sacramento State v. Montana State Women's Volleyball"

Sasquatch scores a TD after a workmanlike drive--mostly running.  PAT kick very good, SusQ leads 14 -7 w/ 8:00ish to play.

Kurt just did that ridiculous "RPI/Susquehanna is going left to right/right to left across your radio dial" thing again.

For God's sake, Kurt, they're both going forward!  Tell me if the plays run to the right or the left!  I didn't catch which team you said was going left to right, and I don't want to have to figure out whether near side or far side means running to the left or the right.

Susquehanna scores on long pass play, PAT kick good.

SusQ 21
RPI    7
6:25 remaining 2d Q

UPDATE: RPI scores Hermann - McCarthy on 28 yd pass, McCarthy in a crossing pattern underneath, from right to left, got around LBs and CB to the end zone.

PAT good.

SusQ 21
RPI   14
5:29 remaining 2d Q

Drew seems to be seriously struggling here. 1 int and 3-12 in the air. Has to get batter than that today or we are ****ed.

The U finally scores after converting a long 4th down pass to gallo, then pounding it in with Coney.  7-0 U.
