Thanks for the correction U89.

Good job, Bart!  28-0

Salisbury interception with less than 1 min. to play. Union with no time outs left. This game is over. Tough loss for the Dutchmen. Key turning point in the game was Union with a 3rd and 1 on the Salisbury 21 yard line with 8 mins. to play. 2 rushing attempts to get the 1st down resulted in a loss of 1 yard and the Dutchmen turned the ball over on downs. Salisbury then marched down the field and kicked the winning field goal.

When dlip left to take his wife to the shower it was 9-0 an dlip was feeling pretty down about the game. Just coming in and listening to the last int dlip is frustrated but feels the Dutch seemed to do a nice job of coming back and getting the game close. Mr.Rlippiel told dlip that Union had missed a key fourth down conversion earlier in the 2nd half and the dropped ****ing punts that may have been key to the loss. dlip has to look back at the box score and listen to what some others have to say but it seems as if the Dutch played hard and almost pulled this one out. dlip is always proud to be a U fan and it seems here as if they fought hard and made a solid ****ing showing against a decent Salisbury team.

Nice win today for Hobart.  A repeat of last year's shutout of the Mariners.

In other LL action, Rochester beats WPI 24-17.

If Live stats are correct, RPI is hanging onto a 10-7 lead over the Larries with about 11 to play in the 4th qtr.

What's particularly nice is zero penalties and 4/4 in th red zone, also had 33min on TOP.  The offense still could use improvement and they didn't run enough (plus the constant switching of QB's is questionable, we're still only 55% of the way through the season), but a nice win.  MMA was probably overrated if you look at their season to date though (SU only win of note and they played with that backup Qb who couldn't do anything in the second half of the Bart game).

Can't believe the RPI/SLU game is close.  I know SLU played it close with Union, but they got their lunch handed to them by Bart and, unless I'm wrong, RPI is home today.

Can't get the livestats so switched to audio (wrpi).

Bad throws by Kearney hurting the Saints.  Misses a wide open WR on 3rd and 19 and then turns the ball over on downs (sack by Elliott and Hill).

1:45 to go in the 4th qtr at own 47 (RPI).  SLU only has 1 time-out.  One first down and this one's over.

RPI 10 SLU 7 Final

A lot closer than most would have expected, but it's still a win for the Engineers.

Marlier TD on a 15 yard rush.  7-51 yards with 6:49 left in the 1st.  Vella 2-4 with two big 3rd and 4th down conversions from 13 and 14yards.  -1 on a Vincent reverse, loss on Vella sack, chop block negative yardage, so the normal plays working, everything else, meh.

Windy day.  WPI started with the ball and went 3 and out.

PAT kick attempt by U blocked.

Wind is blowing from behind Union. I missed the start of the broadcast, so I don't know if the wind is blowing left to right or right to left across my streaming audio dial.

All that matters is that the wind is blowing :-)

Hobart stops them on 3 and out, but is offsides on the punt.  A couple of rush plays and two big pass plays and WPI ties it 7-7.  Robinson and Keliher beat on the two plays.

pumkinattack

Tritten on a 25 yard rush, but gets stripped as he's running out of bounds.  WPI ball.

God damn it.

FYI, Ray Davis is a Worcester, MA kid......your welcome RPI.
