Union takes a safety 20-15

20-ish seconds left

hmmmmm, RPI now wins with a TD.....don't like the move.

That was bizarre!!!

labart96

Risky call - good point by Carm re the bad execution.  Punter should have ran around in the end zone to drain the clock as much as possible.

14 seconds remain and a 1st and 10 from the 45.

Is this the coaching battle of the brains for sure...Embarrassing for both teams.

'gro

Too many penalties RPI...

"We are family" really... REALLY? Someone shoot the music coordinator at Frank Bailey.

20-15...don't forget the safety...strangest call...EVER

Math was never TGP's best subject.  So noted, 13+2 = 15

Agreed, obviously the safety alieviates punting from deep in Union territory, but an RPI TD gives them the win.....not OT.....made no sense to me.

Battle of the Shoes goes to Onions...

Agree but safety could have worked in the punter could have ran out the clock as much as possible vs. running out of the EZ ASAP.

What if the kicker didn't boot it 70 yards?  What if RPI ran it back?  Loss instead of OT?  IDIOTIC!!!  Did it end up ok?  Yes, because it was a long shot to score either way, but had it happened, you would have lost!!!  Who does that?  That is like intentionally walking the winning run!

You don't like it 'cause it's a stupid move. Scratching my head on that one.

dlip honestly does not know what to say about today. Felt pretty good after the first half and the 2nd half was a total ****in mess for U to say the least, aside from the one TD of course. dlip must soak this in and reflect before he can really speak on the game.

Nice job with the WABY crowd, but I agree.  Union had some Dlipped calls in the 2nd half.

Hobart causes a Hermann INT but go 3 and out.

Punt (fair catch) is fumbled by RPI so the Statesmen get the ball in the RPI red zone.

Engineer defense hangs tough and Hobart offense (penalty, incomplete passes, broken play, etc) sputters.

Statesmen settle for a 28 yd Callahan FG.  3-0 Bart with 6:07 to play in the 1st.
