St. Lawrence scores on a 26 yd TD pass on 3rd and 17.  Saints kicker is injured, so they go for 2 again and don't get it this time.  14-0 St. Lawrence midway through the 3rd quarter.

St. Lawrence immediately gives up a series of long runs and Norwich punches it in for a TD.  XP is good.  14-7 St. Lawrence with 5 minutes left in the 3rd.

St. Lawrence has a great drive to respond, taking just over 5 minutes to drive 70+ yds and score.  A lot of great runs with some passes mixed in on the drive.  A linebacker is brought in to kick the XP, and he makes it.  21-7 Saints at the end of the 3rd.

Thank god for SLU seemingly winning today. Honestly, dlip knows Norwich is not a bad team, but for the LL to be 0-2 vs the NEFC and 0-1 against the ECFC would be brutal. SOOOOOO at least our conference winner from last year is getting the W against last years 2nd place (dlip thinks) ECFC team.

It's all going right for the Saints right now.  They get stopped on 3rd down, punt goes into the coffin corner and downed on the 2.  Next play they get a sack for a Safety.  SLU up 29-14 with about 2 minutes left in the game.

Just got back to the computer and St. Lawrence is up 20-0 on MMA in the 2nd quarter, though MMA is driving.  SLU quarterback is 9-9 with 3 TDs so far.  Stats are available:

Union Bart tied at 14. Unions d has played great but unions #6 (Campbell) is once again gettimg exploited by an offense. Dlip hates to say it  but when  union was goimg with a different look early thngs in the secondary seemed much better. JDO is all.

Gotta give Bart credit they keep fighting and exploiting unions defensive and special teams weakness. 27-17 hobart

Entertaining half of football here at union. Hobart has the lead 27-17. Dlip is very happy with unions effort and play thus far. He is especially happy with the overall defense for the Dutchmen. the special teams are still brutal and needs more work. Kids are playing there asses off though.
May I just say that tyre Coleman is simply awesome! Dlip is very impressed with the statesmen thus far.
