After the listless 3rd quarter it became interesting. Sparked by Union QB Blake Gellar, Union was able to score to make it close but a late Saints TD made the final 26-14. I agree Dlip, Union did well to get back into the game after a dismal start but needs to add a passing attack back into the offense. All in all, not a bad effort by the Dutchmen. Congrats to St.L and Hobart who will play for the LL championship.

Hobart gives up a quick slant for a 50+ yard TD on Mt. Union's first drive, then gets a few first downs and is forced to punt.

MUC up 7-0 with the ball at their own 20 in the first quarter.

Blocked punt by Hobart.  Drive start in MUC territory.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Jonny Utah

Yep.

Hobart giving up another big pass as well.  UMU (not MUC right?) ball inside Hobart 20.

Jonny Utah

Mt. Union scored on a nice run, 14-0 still in the 1st quarter.

(These local cable guys still haven't figured out how to put the time on the live feed)

Jonny Utah

Hobart with a nice drive into UMU terriroty with some nice inside zone runs.

Jonny Utah

End of the 1st.  Hobart down 14-0 with the ball at around the UMU 25.

Jonny Utah

Hobart running back tough, running over a UMU LB for a first down.  (#25 I think was also the player who jacked up a UMU OLB on a sprint out)

Jonny Utah

Hobart going for it on 4th and 7. Timeout UMU, looked like Hobart was setting up an empty formation.

Jonny Utah

TD hobart on a delayed slant over the middle.

Jonny Utah

14-7 Mt. union over Hobart. early in the 2nd.

facemack penalty on Hobart puts UMU on their 43 Yardline.

Jonny Utah

another hobart breakdown in the secondary, UMU rolls out and gets a deep pass inside the Hobart 20.

Jonny Utah

quick WR screen, inside the 10 now, 1st and goal.

...then another nice inside zone run for a TD.

21-7 Mt. Union leads early-mid 2nd quarter.

Hobart has some really nice receivers with size, but the QB needs to settle his feet and make a throw.  Has happy feet whether pressure is coming or not.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!
