The Dutchmen pull out a major character win; the final 28-23 over Hobart.  Went up 28-10 midway through the fourth and then the defense managed to bend but not break.  I think these boys are legit, and getting better every week.  Really impressed by the Union, who frustrated the heck of out of Sweeney and co. all day long.

Just catching the end of the RPI vs St. Lawrence game. The Larries just hit a desperation 4th down pass for a TD and lead the Engineers 17-14. under 2 minutes left

From Butterfield, right away the Ithaca announcers are talking about how wet and torn up the field is.  Go figure!

Ithaca gets the ball first, starting at their own 15.  They put together a nearly 6 minute drive to the Union 27... and then on 3rd and 8, gets intercepted.

After stopping Ithaca's drive with an inception, Union has a long sustained drive with Connor Kinzelmann picking up two 1st downs in the wildcat. No score after one.

Ithaca finally puts together stops on 3 plays in a row and forces Union into kicking the field goal, which they make from 29.  A nearly 12 minute drive only ends in 3 points for Union

Ithaca got a good return on the kickoff to their own 38.  The offense then makes the push through to the red zone, only for the drive to stall out on the Union 4.  IC takes the field goal to tie it back up.

Union starts the new drive on their own 30, converts a long 3rd and 16 and moves just into the red zone, but a sack and then a false start forces them into a 4th and 11 which they can't make.  Ithaca takes over on downs with 2:51 left in the half.
