Good game by Ithaca.  I'm just pleased by what I saw out of the offense in the second half.  Except for that whole complete lack of a running game thing.

Also, horrendous use of timeouts by the coaching staff.  Gross.

either the refs or the Fisher coaches just caused a temporal paradox and a rip in the fabric of the universe, both calling and not calling a timeout at the same time.

EDIT: a bizarre and thoroughly overly drawn out final minute ends and HOORAY WE WIN HOORAY.

Saw just enough not-great stuff to be considerably more concerned about RPI and Union than I was 4 hours ago.

Ithaca decides to go for it on 4th and 5 at the RPI 35, and the pass finds nobody.  Turnover on downs. No score with 8:30 to go in the first.

RPI takes the next drive to the Ithaca 6, but sees a pass into the end zone on 3rd and 4 get tipped incomplete.  They settled for the field goal.

Weird, back and forth game in Geneva.  Hobart has a scored on two big plays, but also thrown 2 picks.  Union's offense has alternated between going three and out and scoring in about 30 seconds.  Union has also repeatedly shot itself in the foot with back penalties.  Think this game goes to whichever team is more discplined and consistent in the second half.

Typical ****ing 1st half in Geneva. Back and forth. We've got a Union/Hobart game folks.

Give the Pumpkinheads credit on both sides of the ball. They are hungry and playing hard. Union has had flashes on O and D but real lulls on both as well. That's what happens when the competition steps up. It's a shame about Harvey. ****ing kid is a beast, but the story of his career is that he just can't stay healthy. What a great back he is.

With all this being said U looks pretty ****ty and still has the lead. Looking forward to the second half. By the way, Dutch Boy thinks the world of Ted Baker, Bart announcer, but if he ****ing mentions the wind/kickoff again he's going to get a Pumpkin smashed on his ****ing coconut...

RPI picks off Ithaca and with a big return... only to see some of it come back due to a sideline interference penalty. RPI can't move after that and is forced to punt. That punt only goes 13 yards, so Ithaca starts on their 27.
