Union finally gets on the scoreboard with a FG, 3-0 midway through the second.  A slow, grinding game, and U having trouble running.  Ross playing well, but looks like he may be done for the day with a groin injury.

Ithaca puts a drive together for the first time today and gets a TD on a pass to Will Gladney.  However, they chose to go for 2 and missed.

RPI up 31-6 with 3:20 to go in the 3rd quarter.

Union forces a three and out and drives the short field for a TD, now up 10-0 with 3:27 to go in the first half.

RPI pins Ithaca deep, and the Bombers are forced to punt from their own 2.  They can only get it out to the 35, and the Engineers are able to turn the short field into another TD.

RPI leads 38-6 with 9:01 remaining.

Germinerio finds Gladney for a 21 yard touchdown pass on the following drive.  However, after a delay of game penalty (yes, delay of game on a 2 point attempt) the Bombers 2 point attempt fails again.

RPI up 38-12 at 7:04 left.

I do like the RPI play by play guys though.  By far the best I've heard over the past few years.

RPI has coasted past Ithaca 38-12.  Engineers better from beginning to end with no doubt about it.

And the Liberty League will only send 1 to the playoffs.

Looks like SLU actually had a quality win against RPI after all.   

I know Rochester is bad but Grochot is currently putting on a passing clinic.  Started the game 19 for 19, currently has 5 TDs.  Viscardo just set the single season record for receiving TDs with his 12th and 13th today.

Didn't have a chance to watch any of the IC game but Just saw the score! Guess I have a lot of catching up to do. Cortland has gone for 7 field goals thus far and hit 5, missing from 40 and 44, but made one from 46! Next week now seems less appealing!

Congratulations to RPI for your best game of the season. Ithaca was definitely looking past RPI to Metlife. This was a great game plan by Isernia and his players executed it,  and it was an equally poor job by Swanstrom and Germinerio to not lead their team back from a punch in the mouth. I really wanted 2 Liberty League teams in the playoffs . This really shows the depth of the Liberty League, but no way a 2 loss team gets into the NCAA dance, especially with such a lopsided loss. I hope Hobart can still get the NY State Bowl game.. although they still need to beat Buff State tonight.

Grochot has talent and once he gets on a roll, he is a completion machine. Congrats to Viscardo  on the record seasonl.

Union gonna go up 20-0 early in the 2nd.  Ike bounces it out nice for a long TD.  Kid can cut and move nicely.
