Nevertheless, it was a great game form UMHB, just showed that no team this year in unstoppable per se. Looks as if you guys have a good group of guys coming back.

I agree with you, Bill, concerning the failed 4th down attempt. The momentum seemed to swing Mount's way with that play.

Sul Ross leads D2 Eastern New Mexico 12-0 with 12 minutes left in the second quarter.   They are playing at AT&T (Jerry Jones) Stadium which begs the question how did they end up snagging an invite to play there?

55-24 Eastern New Mexico with a minute remaining and Sul Ross with the ball on their 1.  Quite a different outcome than last year where the game (at ENM) where the Lobos held the lead thru three quarters before succumbing to a 21 point outburst in the fourth.

LC trails Webber International, a NAIA school from Florida, 6-3 at the half. LC defense is playing well. Offense was sputtering until true freshman Easton Melancon came in at QB in the last the 2 minutes and moved the team into FG position.

LC defense looked good in a 16-12 win over Webber Int. Webber kicked 2 FGs and had a INT return for a TD. The Wildcat offense struggled. Melacon looked good at QB. He made a few freshman mistakes but he throws really well.
