What s wrong with Hudson?
not sure. he went down in the Wesley game and never returned. I havent heard an injury report
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

He was in uniform tonight but never put his helmet on once the game started, perhaps he could have gone if necessary?

I notice the verbage that the current corps of broadcasters use.

Does it reflect on the math education and current math education theory that these broadcasters had that prompts them to report "a gain of positive yardage"?

Does that mean that you slide your number to the right on the number line?

Is it an oxymoron to say a "gain" of "positive yardage"?

Have you ever heard the announcer say a "gain" of "negative yardage"?  In that case, is a "gain" synonymous with a carry?

LC is sticking in the game, trailing 38-27 with 12 minutes left in the 4th, just prior to a UMHB TD pass.

Gain of positive yardage sounds more like redundancy than an oxymoron, doesn't it?
Not really a bad dog. Just misunderstood!

Yes, but more than anything else it sounds ridiculous, which I think was the point of the post. I do concede that "Gain of positive yardage" isn't a figure of speech that combines contradictory terms.

baddog

Indeed, that may have been the point of the post, but not to be aware of the vast difference between an oxymoron and redundance is ridiculous as well.

Watching the game on TV at home. Their QB is getting a lot of yards on the scramble and draw. Probably time to put a spy on him

Big Int by the Cru deep in their territory and returned 65 yards. Cru finally punched it in on 4th and goal

14-0 Cru

I'm getting concerned about this game. We had two possessions on the 2nd quarter where we should have put points on the board. We came out of the half and had a 3 and out. Now the Redlands are driving. We need to put more points on the board because the Redlands are in this game at 14-0 with 25 min to go. The Redlands QB scramble is hurting us today. Hopefully the offense can find something in the passing game as they are starting to stack the box on us.

Wow Cru defense and special teams comes up huge! Sack fumble on 3rd down when they were on our 20. They had 4th and 21 and pooch punted in which we took it from our 5 to the house.

Huge score and momentum changed.

21-0 Cru. I wonder if this takes the wind out of the Redlands

Gee, I'm the only guy here who want UMHB to get the lead back and hold it? 12-13

3rd downs killed UMHB all day.  And, I'm astounded that UWW didn't have a single penalty.  No way thats possible,IMO
