3rd downs killed UMHB all day.  And, I'm astounded that UWW didn't have a single penalty.  No way thats possible,IMO

up until that PI call no flags were thrown except for false starts. The RB Was grabbing and turning rushers  right in front of the ref and he was keeping th flag in his pocket.

toby, hope all is well.  saw that on the computer and said it to my wife several times as the game was going on.  UMHB was too conservative in my opinion.

things are going well Wesleydad. I mostly agree with you about being too conservative, but there were other things about the game that bothered me more. I don't get the rotating QBs. They haven't done that like that much this season. I don't think it was helpful. I don't get the field goal with 3:29 left. They were averaging 4.5/ carry and had only been held short of 3 yds once on that drive. Even if the CRU only get 2 yds, I like the defenses chances at creating something with UWW on th 1. And the. There were the non-calls which I was ok with until the crap PI penalty was called. All in all it seemed to me like the game plan was don't lose rather than let's win.

I have to give UWW credit though the defense looked good and the offense was patient enough to use UMHBs aggressiveness against them

I found a 13-13 tie in 1950. (I find no games between schools from 1951 to 2009, inclusive.)

I find a 41-0 HPU win in 1941.
