From what i've read, I don't believe LC is getting enough credit against Wesley. To say if Wesley plays clean football that they win easily I believe is false. LC's defense forced the turnovers with great coverage, thus the QB had to force some throws. Now don't get me wrong, Wesley is a great team, a National powerhouse. However, watching the game in person, I truly believe that LC went toe to toe with Wesley the whole game and showed that we can hang with some of the best in the nation.

LACollegeFan - I agree with you that LC's performance against Wesley had nothing to do with luck. You guys have a very good team and looked to have had a solid game plan against us. Your RB was a stud. We didn't have our best game and made stupid mistakes that helped make the game so close, but that's to your credit for making some of that happen. It's tough to get respect in DIII and it seems to take many years of solid performance to be mentioned with the big boys - have to use that as motivation.

LC 29 ETBU 17. It was a 5 ppoint game going deep into the 4th qtr. LaCollege has UMHB next week. Should be interesting.

I agree 100%. I just wanted to make sure people know that this game was a 3 point game because of the way LC played, not because Wesley played its most horrible game of the season. A lot of respect for Wesley though. After the game, every Wesley player stood in line and shook every players hand, telling them how good of a game it was, and good luck the rest of the season.

At half, UMHB scores on blocked fg with no time left but misses PAT. Score is 6 - 3, UMHB.

14-10 UMHB at the half. Cru looks a bit sluggish on offense and 2 missed FG's

At halftime in Belton Cru ahead 14-10. Strong south wind playing a role in game. HSU throwing ball pretty well with a few really nice catches by HSU receivers. Cru has missed two fg's and had one td called back near end of half. A few questionable calls for both sides

Cru strikes quick with a long run 50+ yards. Then a face mask at the end of the play. Punched it in next play
