17-0 NCC over IWU.  IWU with some silly penalties, that gave NCC a FG with 4.2 seconds left in half.

All NCC thus far.

Penalties have really hurt IWU in this one.  Besides the 3 points they basically gave NCC in the final seconds of the half (mentioned above), there was an even bigger penalty earlier.  On 3rd and 17 or so from their own 25 or so, NCC threw about a 5-yard pass to their big TE.  The ball went in and out of the TE's hands, and the play was covered anyway (might have gone for 7-8 yards, but NCC was going to have to punt, up just 7-0)...but IWU was whistled for pass interference on what looked like a very iffy call.  It was an automatic 1st down, and NCC marched down the field and scored to take a 14-0 lead.

That said, NCC has dominated this game.  IWU, playing again without T.J. Stinde, has zero rushing yards.  NCC has 120.  To me, the most glaring factor in the game is NCC's offensive line - they're opening gaping holes.  On offense, the Titans just don't even seem to have any kind of real threat of running the ball - their offense is completely on the shoulders of sophomore QB Rob Gallik.

Early in the 1st half, Rob Gallik overshot Tate Musselman on a deep ball that would have been an easy 6.  That hurt as well.

So far this has looked like teams on two different levels...but IWU could easily only be down 7-0 right now.  Very frustrating.

21-0 NCC after a long TD pass.

NCC is going to get the ball back at Wheaton's 30. Wheaton's punter was ruled down before kicking it, b/c his knee touched the ground before kicking it away. Nothing is going right for Wheaton....this game is going to get ugly

NCC looks good
