Wheaton leading 41-0 now.

2 TD's by Meador, 2 TD's by Roberts, 2 TD's rushing for Jarrett.  Overall very balanced offensive attack.

As expected (at least by me), QB's are rotating every couple series - much like years past.

BU -5 yards in 3rd quarter, so good game by Wheaton defense (46 plays, only 90 yards).

48-0 late in 4th, as Wheaton 2nd string offense marches down field against BU 1st string defense.

Wheaton defense loses shutout with 36 seconds left on 4th and goal.  Final will be 48-7.  Good first game.

Mr. Ypsi

The NCC defense is absolutely dominating UWL (they have 13 net yards and 1 first down midway thru the 2nd Q), but UWL just returned a fumble 57 yards for a TD.  Score is tied at 7.

NPU trails Hope, 28-24, early in the third quarter.

IWU up 35-13 over Aurora at the half.  Good to have Stinde back.  Offense looks very good.

Carthage beat what is reputed to be a very solid Adrian squad, 20-17.

Hope has a TD and is threatening to get another, midway thru the 4th; currently 35-24.

NCC and UWL traded TDs in the 3rd, but the Cards have a 1st and goal at the 6.  UWL held them to a FG - now 17-14, late in the 3rd.

Mr. Ypsi

The NCC defense is doing fine, but better work with the offense about defense!  UWL just had a Pick 6 (after having a fumble returned for a TD earlier) - Cards trail 21-17, early in the 4th.

Mr. Ypsi

Turnovers are killing NCC.  In addition to the two UWL scores directly, the Cards' last two drives have ended with fumbles in the red zone.

Still down 21-17, about 3 minutes to go.

Looks like Augie fans could be in for another long year.  Down 28-14 at half against Dubuque.  For a team that has 7 returning starters on D and a coach who is supposed to be a defensive guru, Augie's D looks terrible.  They have given up 4 touchdowns and over 300 yards of offense in the first half.

My bad, Dubuque missed the EP, so it's 27-14.  Official stats show Dubuque putting up 287 yards in first half.

Augie goes down 39-21.  Looks like more of the same from this year's version of the Vikings.

Wheaton down 3-0 early at Albion. Wheaton defense gashed by Clinton Orr on first Albion drive.

Meador not playing. Hiben not playing. Jordan Roberts will have to carry the day today.

USee

Wheaton now down 9-0 @Albion. All running game for Albion. If Wheaton can't stop the run, they are in for a very long season.

Thunder respond with a long drive capped by a 29 yd Roberts to Morgan Cook TD pass. 9-7 w 9min to go in the 1st half.
