FB: CCIW in-game updates

Jordan Roberts continues to sizzle at QB. 13-15 for 122 yards and 2 TD's. Combine that will his stats from the 1 1/2 quarters he played last week and he is 30-39 for 391 yards, 4 TD's in under 3 quarters of play. That splitting time with an All-American QB.

9 different Wheaton receivers with catches in 1st half.

Meador with a 55 yards rush in the 1st quarter, Velling with 52 yards rushing as well.

Carthage had 39 plays in the 1st half, for only 108 yards (2.8 yards per play).

Roberts is 21 of 23 for 199 yards and 4 TDs. Wheaton offense is really starting to jell.

Coach Rucks was touting Carthage as one of the top defenses in the CCIW. Wheaton with 400 yards offense in less than 3 quarters.

SLOPPY. Carthage rushes 2, only 2 on a punt and still block the punt. Carthage starts drive at Wheaton 18.

Augie with 37 yard TD. Leading Elmhurst 27-24 with 2:36 remaining. Huge missed extra point to keep it to a 3point lead.

Many have questioned if Elmhurst has the defense to be an upper tier CCIW team. They have given up over 400 yards to a very average Augie offense.
