There is plenty of time in the game for NCC to go back to a pounding run game.  Everything bad is happening with the pass or refusal to keep pounding the middle.

Cards have outgained Linfield and have a 2-1 advantage in time of possession.  The two turnovers are the big difference.

Pounding the rock sets up play action pass.  NCC down to Linfield 2.

Long pass to Kukuc sets up first and goal at the 3.  Pass was almost picked off before the catch.

I don't get it.  You have a running back who is averaging nearly 8 yards a carry on the season and has nearly a 100 yards in the first half against Linfield, and you attempt to get "cute" instead of handing it off to him.  I would go a step further than silly and suggest stupid.

I do have to say... the multiple-angle camera coverage and replay ability for the Linfield broadcast is a nice setup.

17-0 at the half.  A deficit, but not insurmountable if they can put together a turnover free half and focus on the run.
