Augustana 21, Elmhurst 7 in the 3rd quarter. The Augie option is eating up the 'jays, as QB Sam Frasco racked up 105 yards and 2 TDs in only 12 rushes. Williams has only touched the ball three times for Elmhurst, which I don't get. One of those three times was a 54-yard TD run.

Augie's used some trickery that has paid off. They successfully pulled off a fake punt from their own 30-yard line that set up a TD, and one of the touchdowns was off of an option reverse.

Well, that didn't take long. The Titans scored on the opening drive in less than two and a half minutes, and NPU's already down, 7-0.

Wheaton subs in now. Carthage with 127 yards offense for game against starting defense - only 26 yards rushing. Another very strong showing for the defense.

And of course now Carthage is driving.

My only concern with the Wheaton defense is the lack of pass rush. No sacks again today.
