Oops - the 'elite defense' IWU has displayed all day, suddenly crumbled, and Wheaton gets an answering TD in less than 2 minutes (the extra point was either shanked or tipped).  23-19 w/ 12+ remaining.  (Key play was a 41-yard pass by Roberts to Lindquist.)

Jones then fumbles the kickoff, IWU is called for pass interference in the end zone, so it is Wheaton 1st and goal at the 2.

THE DRIVE!!!  17-play, 95-yard TD drive, and almost as importantly, took the clock from 10:44 to 2:34!!  The TD itself was a thing of beauty - Gallik set up to throw, then pitched pack to Stinde at the last second: Stinde went 22 yards untouched into the end zone.

North Park goes up 7-0 on Augie on their first play from scrimmage, a 71-yard pass from TD Conway to Cody Hood.

Now 14-14 in Rock Island early in the 2nd quarter... looks like it could be a real shootout.

At the half its NCC 14 Wheaton 13. Wheaton missed an extra point and a 43 yd fieldgoal. Thunder doing a very good job running the ball with 156 yds at half. Roberts is 6-7. Wind a big factor

Three Big Blue fumbles and a North Park onside kick recovery (followed by a 53-yard TD pass) are among the Viking highlights. 

Dunning had a 70-yard run for Millikin's lone score.
