Titan Q

Half:

Wartburg 21
IWU 0

Wartburg has just completely dominated every phase of this game.  And two Rob Gallik turnovers have hurt matters - an INT on IWU's opening drive at about the WC 30, and then a fumble with IWU driving at about the WC 30 (big hit from the blindside).

WC gets the ball to start the 3rd Q.  From what I've seen, Wartburg is better than IWU, has a lot better gameplan, and is executing their gameplan much better.

Surprising.

I thought this gane would be close, but Wartburg  is looking very good. IWU needs a stop and quick score to get back into this one.

I agree. Wartburg has been much more physical than the Titans and the athleticism of the Wartburg LB's has really troubled IWU. Without the IWU turnovers This game is much closer but Wartburg has dominated.

NCC with a score on an Albion punt.

28-0, still in 2nd.

Just to be clear, this was not a punt return for a TD.
Kevin Schroeder blocked an Albion punt, and Jason Callahan picked it up and ran it in from the Albion 29.

Really thought the Titans would play better -- very poor offensive execution in the first half, D on the field far too long -- 2 TOs, and Wartburg playing very well, very crisply.  Titans do look lackluster for some reason.  Result = 21-0 down at the half.

It is VERY cold out there.

When it rains, it pours (or today, perhaps I should say when it snows, it blizzards):  Gallik just fumbled into his own endzone, Wartburg recovered for a TD!  28-0. :(

Titan Q

35-0

It has moved from the embarrassment category to just plain silly now.

Mr. Ypsi

Hey, aside from having no rush defense, no offense, and now fumblitis*, the Titans are playing well. :(

*The Titans were finally putting together their first real drive of the game, when Chechen fumbled it away deep in Wartburg territory.

The Titans haven't played well, but I am not sure it would have mattered. Wartburg is just better. They have dominated this game outside of the turnovers. Have run for aver 200 yds and kept IWU to about 120 total yards so far.

TitanPride

Wartburg physically dominated the LOS.  They were impressive.

Mr. Ypsi

Gallik finally getting it together, but almost certainly to little too late.  He put together a 71-yard TD drive, including four passes (out of four throws) for 67 yards.  7-35 with a minute left in the third quarter.

BTW, Gallik and Simms have both gotten the individual records (though I'm sure they'd happily trade them for a win!); Jones will not (he hasn't carried the ball since the first quarter, and had 4 rushes for -6 yards).

A Stanek 83 yd TD pass to Chad O'Kane has NCC with a 7-0 lead. UWP threw a pick into the NCC endzone and NCC fumbled away a ball in the Pioneer redzone since then. Slezak is playing

Kent runs it in from about 20 yds out on 3rd and 1
