Augie6

Augie takes it into the red zone again and turns it over on downs.  3rd time in the red zone with zero points to show for it.  This is a game that Augie could have easily won.  With less than 4 mins. to go, not looking good for AC.

Wow, right before half... Great catch by the Wheaton player and effort.

Three times in a row NCC time clock operator lets the clock run when it should be stopped.
Ref fixes it twice but Wheaton still loses time on the fix plus seconds on the non fix.
Then Wheaton scores on a throw just in front of the end zone NO TIME REMAINING.
MORAL PLAY IT STRAIGHT PLAY IT HONEST!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not going to connect the TD with the clock operator.   ::)

But I will say the clock operator needs to do his/her job better.  Very liberal with letting the clock run after end of play.

Like our announcers said.
Three times in a row withe the crowd going nuts.
Also didnt happen to the home team the entire first half.
The odds of that being a mistake are the same as almost none.

Come on man, I'm not questioning the "homer" clock operator, but to imply the TD happened because of dishonest clock operator is INSANE!

Your right I just meant a homer clock operator.

Is it possible to have a penalty on every play of a 10 play drive?

Wheaton & Naperville are doing their best to achieve that.

Wheaton leads Elmhurst 17-0 at half.

Not unexpectedly a very sloppy game between horrible field conditions and Wheaton not as sharp as last week (resting some players, likely due to injury).

If not for 3 Elmhurst turnovers (one a pick 6), this game could be very close.  If Wheaton plays like this next week, they'll be in trouble.

Cards up 16-7 on the Weenies at half.   No Hunniford.   Warden mostly doing a good job managing the game to this point.

TD Cards!  Bad snap on a punt turns into a TD.  23-7.  ;D

Muffed punt by NCC leads to a IWU TD.  23-15 after the two point conversion.

FG gives the Cards a 26-15 lead.  Checchin appears to be done for the day with an injury.
