Olateju just dropped an easy TD.
Wheaton Football: CCIW Champs: 1950, 1953-1959, 1995, 2000, 2002-2004, 2006, 2008, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2019

Midway thru the 2nd, Wheaton ties it at 7 on a 16-yard TD pass from Goldsmith to Roberts.

Halftime in Wheaton, tied 7-7.  Not as good as I'd hoped; better than I realistically expected! ::)

Elsewhere, it may be the end of an era in Whitewater - they trail Oshkosh 13-0 at the half.  In CCIW news, I've now dropped the possible upset alert in St. Louis - NCC trailed WashU 10-0 after one quarter; now lead 29-10 at the half!

Mr. Ypsi

Still tied at 7 after 3.

NCC up 36-17 near the end of the 3rd.  UWO 23, UWW 13 at end of 3.

Mr. Ypsi

Wheaton gets a 33-yard FG; now up 10-7 w/ 9+ to go in the game.

WW scores again, now trails only 20-23 early in the 4th.

IWU 14 Wheaton 10-Final. Way to go Titans!

Mr. Ypsi

HOLY CRAP!!!  What a game ending!!!

IWU trying to score from the Wheaton 12 with 11 seconds left - Bauer is sacked - game over, Wheaton wins.

BUT WAIT!  Someone from Wheaton had called a TO before the play (IWU was out of TOs).  Second chance, Titans get a TD pass (a fantastic one-handed grab by Walsh).

TITANS WIN, 14-10!!!!!!!!!

NCC VS ELMHURST

NCC 1st possession- touchdown 🏈
Elmhurst 1st possession- 3 and out, punts. NCC blocks the punt.
NCC 2nd possession- touchdown 🏈
NCC kicks off - Elmhurst fumbles on the return.
NCC 3rd possession - touchdown 🏈
NCC kicks off. Elmhurst on a drive into NCC territory, but is stopped on downs.
NCC 4th possession - touchdown 🏈

End of the first quarter!

Mr. Ypsi

With a minute remaining in the first half, Millikin was driving to cut their deficit to 10-3 or 10-7.  Then BOOM!  IWU intercepts, returns ball to the Millikin 5, scores on the next play.  Then they take away a fumble at the Millikin 20, score in two plays.  All in less than 50 seconds!

At the half, IWU 24, Millikin 0.

USee

In Naperville NCC leads 7-0. Austin Bruenig not playing and St Johns playing their backup QB. Almost half

In Bloomington, IWU trails Case 7-0. Case scored via a pass play that was deflected to their guy and a fumble picked up and run in for the TD.

USee

In Bloomington its a white out with an inch of snow on the ground and snow blowing hard. Brandon Bauer is going to need to step up in 2nd half.

USee

Sharmore Clarke, LG for the Cardinals, is singlehandeldly generating the running game. Every big run is over him.

USee

CWRU defense has been very impressive. Dominating the LOS vs the Titans so far.

USee

Case gets a long PR and then on 4th and 1 gets a TD run and lead 14-0. Titans in trouble in Bloomington

I heard Breunig is out with injury sustained in practice, what about SJU's QB?
You win! You always do!
