Whoa!  IWU all over Carthage in the 3rd quarter: 35-3.

I haven't been paying attention due to installing drywall in the bathroom, but it appears as if Evan Jones may be injured.  His stats read 8-14 for 36 yards, 2 INTs.  Another Carthage QB is 6-8 for 43 yards.  Implies Jones isn't playing.

Ladd is 19-25 for 270 yards and 4TDs.  IWU looks like it is for real and should be considered a true contender for the CCIW title.

Total Offense: IWU 380, Carthage 101.  YIKES! :o

40 yard TD for Carthage 2nd string QB.  Missed extra point.  35-9 IWU

NPU doesn't have LiveStats and I'm running around too much to listen to WETN radio to hear all the details.  But 27-0 Wheaton over NPU with 2 minutes left in the half.

Sounds like NPU has come out in some version of the wildcat/single wing - perhaps trying to trip up Wheaton.  Problem is it sounds like it takes Shelby Wood out of the game?  Weird... Why wouldn't you have your top player in?

Augie over Elmhurst 21-3 in the 4th quarter.  Sounds like a defensive game.  Augie with 250 yards total offense, Elmhurst with 150 yards.

I gotta question NPU's play calling.  Crazy!  They've got a WR lining up at QB for 2/3 of the plays in a wildcat formation and flinging the ball and getting intercepted, rather than playing their straight up offense with a very athletic, experienced QB in Shelby Wood.  Seems very desperate.

FYI... I heard earlier in the week that Rocky Gingg was not going to be playing this week.  He has a minor ankle injury from the Concordia game, though he played last weekend.  Probably getting a rest this week so he is healthy for Augustana.

Another TD for Carthage, but it is probably too little, too late.  Now 35-16 IWU with 10 minutes or so left in the game.

Ouch!  On 2nd and 30 from the Carthage 41, Kraig Ladd hits his receiver for a 41 yd TD.

Mugsy, it was hard to find, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that North Park has live stats available here: http://resources.northpark.edu/athletics/2009/xlive.htm

Thanks for the update on Gingg. I wondered why he wasn't playing. Hopefully he'll be back and healthy for Augie!

Make that 34-0 Wheaton with 12:29 remaining in the 3rd quarter.
