Just logging on... (been visiting terminally ill Grandmother).

Wheaton up 14-6.  Definitely some growing pains for the young Wheaton QB's.  Field is an absolute mess.

Rocky Gingg with 175 yards on 32 carries is the difference in the game.  Wheaton with 400+ yards of offense, Albion only 170.  It'll be interesting to hear from those tracking the game, but it looks as if the game shouldn't be as close as it is.

Sorry to hear about your grandmother Mugsy . Hope she is at peace and not suffering any.

Thank you, yes.  She is 93 and lived an amazing life.  Wonderful woman.  Pancreatic cancer that has spread to liver and other areas.  Not much to do for her at this point other than pray for peace and no pain.  She is very upbeat despite the outlook.

Just heard the radio broadcaster for Carthage mention that Red Men linebacker Mike Oratowski just recently lost his brother fighting in Afganistan. Kind of a sobering thought this being the anniversary of 9/11 and makes football seem trivial. My prayers and gratitude go out to the Oratowski family for their sacrifice. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the brave men and women who serve our Nation and give us the freedom to do what we do.
