Carthage converts their 4th take-away into a TD. Evan Jones 4th TD pass, Chris Schulz 2nd TD catch. The Red Men are rolling it up!! 41-3.

Several reserves, many which are freshmen getting some valuable playing time mid-way through the 3rd qtr. Freshmen QB T.J. Trepanier now leading the Red Men offense. Carthage working on the running game although Trepanier has a solid throwing arm. Freshmen RB Steve Jones scores his first rushing TD as a Red Men. Carthage now up 48-3.

Carthage picks up their 5th take-away in Concordia territory. Field goal atempt by back-up kicker Mark Bappert is blocked.

Red Men continue to run the ball and the clock. Tyler Funk on for a 23 yard field goal. This one is good and he kicked it with the left foot! Quite the twist if you can kick with either foot. Red Men up 51-3.

Amended Post: Just found out that the announcers were wrong on Funk kicking left footed. It was actually freshmen kicker Brett Bukari, who is feft footed, that kicked the final 23 yard field goal.

19-0 Wheaton over IWU nearing the half. Wheaton controlling the line of scrimmage. IWU penalties have been costly. Defensive penalty extended a Wheaton drive that ended in a TD. Special teams penalty brought back a kickoff that was returned for a TD.
