That may be true, however, people who didn't think Trine was for real (and there are/were many) were totally wrong and way off the mark.  We'll see how NCC matches up against UWW next week.

Cardiac arrest in Wheaton! Wow, talk about a punchers ballgame. Both teams just punished one another in the trenches all day long.

Says alot about both the CCIW and MIAC that these two very good teams were second in each of those conferences.

I was very, very impressed with Bethel even before today's game, but even more so afterwards.  Love their style of play.  Appreciate your posts and insights.  Nice to know of someone I can ping on anything related to the MIAC or West region who will give me the objective story.  Don't be a stranger to the CCIW boards. 

All the best to Bethel next week.  I'll be pulling for them (provided I can survive the ribbin' I'll get at church tomorrow from the Bethel alum).

Great drive by NC to start.  1 yard run for a TD set up by a 40 something yard pass on a fake option pass.  7-0 NCC after opening drive.

It is worrisome that Coppage finally seems to have hit his stride - his first three caries had been for 2, 1, and -1 (I believe Wenger had the stop all three times).

Impressive game for Stanek thus far.  8-12 for 113.  In playoffs UWW seems to be a bit soft stopping offenses through the air.

Good to see Hllavac back at full force.  4 catches for 76 yards.  Huge for NCC.
