Elmhurst takes opening drive down for a touchdown. Another 15 yard penalty on the Wheaton defense. Multiple 10+ yard rushes by Williams. 18 yard TD pass from Furco. 36-14.

Wheaton takes subsequent drive to Elmhurst 17, but fumbles.

After an Elmhurst punt, Wheaton drives down for another TD pass for Meador to Zellar (23 yards). Wheaton 43-14.

Carthage scores TDs on back-to-back possessions. First lead of the game for the RedMen. Now leading 26-23 late in the third qtr.

Looks like the PAT bug has bitten Carthage as well. Knocked the first attempt off the upright. Bad snap on the last PAT forced a 2 point attempt that failed. That 4 point lead would have been nice to have.

Another 25 yard FG for Roche, 49-14 Wheaton. Some one should tell Roche when he goes on for PAT's that it is really a FG. Maybe he'd make more of them.
