Nice to see Meador drive the Thunder down the field on the opening drive of the 3rd.  Wheaton leading 35-7 early in the 3rd quarter.

In a titanic struggle, IWU eviscerates Alma 53-7.

Not that they needed much from him, but T.J. Stinde gained a net 46 yards.  34 of those yards were on 1 play. His other 9 carries netted only 12 yards.

Maybe I missed a post above to provide more context, but why the mention of a game from Sept 8 on the In-Game Updates board?

Both Meador & Roberts are over 200 yards passing and 2 TD's each.  Roberts 13 of 16 for 241 yards, all in the 2nd quarter.

After Millikin built a 27-13 lead over IWU, it is now 27-27 with 1:38 left in the game.  TD that tied the game was on 98 yard, 8 minute IWU drive. Wow...

One heck of a gutsy call by the Big Blue coach in OT even if it didn't work out!!!

I like the call to go for 2, but bad play calls.   Especially once they got defensive holding and half the distance to the goal, run it with the QB or the 215lb RB.

Agree with that.  I think you've got to get a better look than a jump ball in the corner there.  Valiant effort by Millikin though.  And IWU as well to come back in the second half like that.  Good ballgame in Bloomington.

Despite 5 Wheaton turnovers in the 1st half, Wheaton still leading 17-10.  Rare to have that many turnovers and still lead.  4 fumbles, 1 INT.

Wheaton with 285 yards offense, Carthage 108.

Make that 20-10.  Wheaton drove down for a FG with less than 50 seconds.
