Interesting result thus far (at least to me) is Bethel up on UW-Oshkosh 14-7 at the half.  Looks like a dominant defensive game thus far by the Royals.  Only 118 yards offense by UWO.  Bethel QB is 15-17, where only 2 missed passes were INT's.

I would have liked to have seen Elmhurst go for it when they were 4th and 5 at the Tommies 35 up 14-7.  Even if you put it at 50/50 for the conversion worst case is you are still giving them another possession with the difference of only 20-30 fewer yards.  You convert and have the potential to take away a possession from a good offense and go up 21-7.  I think that's the mentality you need in a game like this.

Results today seem to support the big names vs. "the rest".  Mount Union up huge, UMHB up big, Wesley up big...

Hopefully NCC can stop that trend with Linfield, though I don't see Linfield in the same realm as Mount Union, UMHB and Wesley.

Agree.

Williams has not had the usual number of carries.  The man has nearly 2000 yards and it a primary reason why you are in the 2nd round.  Give him the ball.
