Hard to watch NCC making all these turnovers

I certainly did not expect NCC to be down like this at half...

Uh-uh.  He's not played well, but you win and lose as a team.

Kukoc has been a one man show in a losing effort.  105 yards rushing, 51 in receptions.

Not to over simplify things, but this 1st half has turned on 3 sequences.  After a missed FG by NCC, Linfield goes on their one long drive of the day for an 80 yard TD drive - all through the air.

NCC goes on another long drive, mostly on the ground before a 73 yard pick 6 for Linfield.

Then NCC fumbles in their own territory, leading to the Linfield FG.

Not to take anything away from Linfield, as they've been opportunistic, but NCC is beating themselves.

Oh yeah... how could I forget the NCC fumble on 1st and goal from Linfield 3?

NCC has their work cut out for the them. The 2 huge turnovers in the 1st half while going in to score are mistakes that have plagued them in big games. I simply don't understand why Jeff Thorne keeps putting Stanek in situations to make plays in key situations. The 4th and 2 Pick 6 play call was foolish. Linfield had a 3 man D-line. Run the ball. The goal line fumble was poor execution at a critical time. NCC can come back but the deck is stacked against them at this point.

Linfield hasn't been able to run it at all but their pass game isn't struggling vs the NCC secondary. If NCC doesn't score early in the 2nd half this could get ugly.

Yep very tough to watch....Make It Happen Now NCC!!!

Linfield definitely stacking the middle a bit more in the 2nd half to stop Kukuc.

Cards need a score or two, obviously, but a takeaway would help the momentum as well.  Not necessarily on the next possession, but so far the Cards are the only one making mistakes and that would change the dynamic a bit.

You got your wish.  NCC sacks QB, who fumbles and NCC recovers.

Another Stanek INT.  Oh boy...  Can some one tell Coach Thorne he has one of the top rushing attacks in the country?

Two plays later... Stanek throws a pick.  DB jumped the route on an out pattern.

NCC is done in my view. They are in love w Stanek and he is losing this game.
