In Alliance, Mt Union was out to a 31-0 lead in the first half and led 48-20 at half. It is now a 48-41 UMU lead in the 4th. holy smokes!

Tough for Bethel to start the half with that turnover...

As someone said on the MIAC in game board, Peterson was the conference MVP, and Keefe a 4 year backup for a reason.

I've been trying to keep an eye on the UWW - Linfield game, but the video freezes every 45 seconds or so and I have to refresh.  Anyone else struggling with this?

USee

I have struggled w the UWW feed also.

Bethel with a TD drive on the ground.

NCC 21
Bethel 10

We have a ball game.

USee

Field conditions are really unfair for these two teams. Saw linemen on both sides slip coming out of their stance.

USee

Cardnals with a huge Kick Return to the Royal's 8 yd line

USee

NCC scores but penalty will negate it.

In Alliance, UMU scores to make it 55-41

USee

TD by the Cardinals. 28-10 now. Kent running the ball tough.

USee

Big TD pass by Stanek to O'Kane. That was a big time throw with two defenders on him.

NCC 35-10 now.

What a pass from Stanek to O'Kane. On a line.

That was an impressive play.

the Wesley QB is 33-50 for 561 yds with 4 INT's and 7 TD's.WOW

Keys to the game so far:

1. Bethel clearly felt the absence of their QB, and their attack was limited by his absence.  They're averaging 7 yards per pass; the Cards are averaging 17.

2. Ball security.  North Central generally has taken care of the ball, and Bethel has not.  I'm including both turnovers, instances where they've recovered their own fumbles, and the handful of times where the ball hit the ground just after the play.

3. Bethel inability to positively impact field position. Through three quarters, they are 1 for 11 on third and fourth down, and their punter is averaging 22.8 yards per kick.  The Cards are only 3 for 9 on conversions, but their punting game has been solid enough.

USee

3 for 9 on third down isn't that abnormal. Key has been avoiding 3rd downs.

Wesley QB threw for 633 yds and 8 TD's today in a 59-62 loss at Mt Union. Holy basketball score.
